Clinical Midwife Specialist or Clinical Nurse Specialist - Lactation, Women's Health Full Time Permanent Role (1 FTE) If you have an interest in building a career as a valued and respected Lactation Consultant as part of a highly skilled team, we have the job for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic Lactation Specialist to join our team! This is a senior midwife or nurse role that requires a demonstrated commitment to supporting BFHI, breastfeeding and lactation support. This role is a senior midwifery or nursing role that is responsible for providing specialised lactation care to mothers and babies on the postnatal wards. The successful applicant would be part of the team consisting of Lactation Consultants including a Midwife/IBCLC BFHI Coordinator providing clinical mentoring and support, and 3 Breastfeeding Advocates. In return for providing your clinical expertise to a culturally diverse community of whaanau, you can expect to work with a skilled team of colleagues. The team works clinically with complex breastfeeding and lactation challenges to support staff and whaanau on the postnatal wards.
