Our Organisation Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions.

With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.

The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Midwife looking for a leadership role in our service.

The Clinical Midwife Manager Maternity provides midwifery leadership and management in our combined antenatal and postnatal ward.

Maternity has 20 beds and provides care to women under LMC and secondary care. The CMM Maternity will provide coordination and some clinical support as needed.

We are looking for a midwife with a passion for providing quality inpatient care, has experience with leading quality improvement initiatives, is confident with provision of antenatal and postnatal cares and is looking for a position with leadership opportunities.

This position is a full-time role and hours of work can be negotiated with the successful applicant(s). Job sharing could also be considered.
