We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our clinical team and drive excellence in patient care.As the Clinical Manager in a rural practice, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our primary care medical centre. You will oversee clinical services, manage staff, and collaborate with the practice manager and healthcare providers to maintain high standards of patient care. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for improving health outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Board and Practice Manager, develop strategies for the growth and development of the clinical serviceProvide leadership by motivating, guiding and encouraging team membersFoster a positive and collaborative work environmentImprove processes to enhance excellent service delivery and operational outcomes for patients and staffLead the recruitment and manage the performance of clinical team membersFulfil the role of complaints officer for the practiceOverall responsibility for recall and screening systemsClinical auditingDevelop, review and update clinical protocols, to ensure that best practice is maintained, and Foundation and Cornerstone standards are metWe are looking forRegistered health practitioner with a current practicing certificate, e.g. registered nurse, nurse practitioner, allied health professional or medical practitionerProven experience in a clinical management role, ideally within a primary care settingCommitment to the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi/The Treaty of WaitangiStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent organisational and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of New Zealand healthcare regulations and standardsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsWhat we offerCompetitive hourly rateA supportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunities for professional developmentA rewarding role making a difference in our communities' healthGreat place to work and delectable morning teasIf you are a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for leadership and patient care, we would love to hear from you.
