We are seeking a Clinical Leader with energy, resilience, commitment and drive, who can inspire and lead our teams.
This is a permanent Monday - Friday full-time role based in Tauranga.
Pay rates are between $109,437 ($52.61/hr) to $120,495 ($57.93/hr) depending on experience.
This is a dynamic role where the needs of the front-line team will dictate the direction of your mahi and require you to adapt to the changing demands of your team.
You will field clinical and operational escalations which will require advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
You'll provide leadership and remove barriers so the team of Registered Nurses, Kaiawhina and Karitane you lead can consistently deliver quality service to the whanau we serve.
You'll guide each individual to reach their full potential through tailored coaching and feedback and build a high-performing team through facilitating meaningful team hui where you communicate key messages, encourage healthy collaboration and celebrate successes in your area.
As the need arises, you'll recruit and orientate new kaimahi and support their ongoing development, whether it is submitting their PDRP portfolio or completing their PG Cert or HW Cert.
You will be a confident nurse who has developed leadership skills either through your day job or outside of work, specifically, the ability to:
understand individual drivers and motivate othersharness, develop and celebrate the unique skills each kaimahi bringscommunicate messages and deliver feedback in a mana-enhancing wayhave exceptional time management skillsmake decisions based on data with a focus on supporting our equity journey.This role calls for someone that embraces uara (values) when working in partnership with the team you lead, the colleagues around you and the whanau we serve, who are our ultimate priority.
You will also bring a deep desire to create and contribute, and a willingness to take risks and challenge the status quo.
To be successful you will have:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to build strong professional relationships with staff and stakeholdersKnowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to improving health outcomes for whanau Maori, as well as a commitment/interest in Te Reo Maori me nga tikangaAn understanding of equity and how this applies to your practice and health outcomesOngoing opportunities for personal and professional developmentVarious wellbeing schemes such as a Wellbeing Day: use one of your sick leave days to proactively protect your well-beingIn line with our ongoing goal to support our kaimahi to thrive in a culturally safe environment, we have multiple communities of interest for kaimahi Maori, Pasifika, Asian and more.
