This is a newly created permanent 0.8 FTE position working across Wairarapa-Tararua district .
Te Whiwhinga mahi - The opportunity
Our Clinical Leaders support and empower our kaimahi to be the best they can professionally and deliver outstanding service to whanau. You will support your team of Registered Nurses, health workers, and Kaiawhina with complex clinical issues or safety risks which are a natural part of working in the community and home visiting.
Additionally, you will carry out normal people management functions including conducting quality one-to-one check-ins with staff, completing appraisals, supporting continuing professional development, and effectively leading organisation-level changes.

As one of the pillars in our team, your positive and forward-thinking strategic mindset will support our ongoing growth. Providing advice and direction our kaimahi need will require you to have a well-rounded clinical skillset and the confidence to make quality, well-considered decisions.
We will be interested in understanding how you have successfully celebrated success, managed performance through challenging conversations, and fostered team cohesion in a virtual world. While experience working in primary healthcare, community, or pediatrics would be advantageous, it is by no means a requirement.
You will also be/have:
Current NZ Nursing Council Annual Practicing Certificate
Right to work in Aotearoa
Restricted or Full Driver's License
Professional Development Recognition Pathway (minimum Level 3)
