Our client has a dedicated team with a genuine passion for elderly care and pride themselves in making a real difference to the lives of their residents.
With a small number of nursing homes across England, where they support people living with dementia, they are now looking to expand.Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day running of all aspects of the home.Build and manage a motivated team to deliver quality care and support to residents.Responsible for financial management and compliance of the home.Driving occupancy in the home.Implementing policies and procedures.Manage recruitment and training of team members.Manage rotas and ensure correct team member levels and skill mix.Lead, support, empower, and inspire direct reports.Ensure alignment with the company's visions and values.Build relationships and communicate with residents, relatives, and external stakeholders.Complete all reporting accurately and on time.Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.Action any requirements from internal and external audits within required timescales.Experience Required:Nurse qualified, with live NMC Pin.A minimum of 2 years proven management experience in a 50+ bed nursing home for the elderly.NVQ Level 4/5 in Leadership & Management.Established leadership skills.Knowledge of CQC and local authority requirements.Strong commercial awareness with P&L accountability.Satisfactory DBS Check and employment references.Rewards include:Company stakeholder pension schemeGroup life assurance cover.Paid DBS / PVGPrivate healthcare cover for yourself and contributory cover for your familyAward-winning learning and developmentPaid NMC Pin Renewal Fees (saving you £120 per year)Homemade meals while you are working!Free Uniform & Free parking on-site.Wagestream benefits – flexible access to your pay as and when you need.How to apply if you are a Registered Nurse RGN with an active NMC PIN:Smartcall Healthcare will support you from application stage through to getting your start date.
