Clinical Director - Wellington, New Zealand - Health New Zealand - Te Whatu OraClinical Director – Northland Rural Hospitals (1.0 FTE)Provide direct clinical care and improve outcomes to our rural communities in the north which serve a high Maori, high-needs population. Live in a small town rich in culture and heritage with scenic coastal areas in New Zealand.As Clinical Director, you will be a proactive clinician with the ability to communicate effectively and build great working relationships with hospital teams. The ideal candidate has experience as a clinical lead in a rural hospital setting with knowledge of medical staff, rostering, and day-to-day operations.A key component is providing a high-quality, cost-effective service to meet three rural Hospitals, Clinical and Organisational objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to improving outcomes for our rural communities, particularly for Maori, with a focus on addressing inequity.We offer a service with a robust clinical governance structure, high standards of care, and a supportive team environment. Leadership development opportunities are available.This role is 1.0 FTE, including providing clinical care within Kaitaia Hospital, Bay of Islands Hospital, and Dargaville Hospital teams.You must be eligible for registration and be able to gain locum tenens and/or vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
