Permanent, part-time (0.6FTE)48 hours a fortnightJoin us at Wairau Hospital Radiology, where your contribution supports the health and wellbeing of the population in the Marlborough region.As a Clinical Assistant - Radiology, you will provide essential support to our radiologists, technicians, and patients, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort during imaging procedures.

Key responsibilities: Assist Radiology staff in preparing equipment and patients for imaging procedures.Provide patient care and support, ensuring comfort and safety.Maintain cleanliness and organisation of imaging rooms and equipment.Perform administrative tasks, including booking appointments and managing patient records.Assist with transporting patients to and from the radiology room.You will participate in a schedule rotating Monday to Sunday shift roster from 8am to 4:30pm.
Requirements: A passion for healthcare and helping others.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a high level of patient care.Previous health experience or qualifications are desired but not essential, as full training will be provided.Physical fitness to assist with patient handling.The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
