This role is a permanent part-time position in our Gisborne PhysioFirst clinic working Monday – Friday 12pm – 5pm.
To provide administrative and reception support to PhysioFIRST therapists and clinical management to assist in the delivery of a high standard and efficient service for people who use, or refer, to our service.
All telephone contacts are dealt with in a courteous and helpful manner at all times.
Accurate messages are taken when necessary and passed on to relevant staff members.
All clients are dealt with in a welcoming and efficient manner.
Requests for service are met in an efficient, timely manner and deadlines are met.
Ensure client bookings align with the clinician's availability and requirements.
Requests for trials of equipment are processed accurately and efficiently.
Invoicing and accounts information is accurate, current and confidential.
Client confidentiality is maintained to ensure the Privacy Act & Health Information Code is adhered to.
Sending discharge letters to GP's and specialists.
A high level of communication skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage workload while meeting the needs of therapists, clients and referrers.
Ability to work independently and use initiative and the ability to multitask.
Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word.
Understands the importance of diary management, able to manage clinical appointment bookings in line with clinicians' availability.
