Client Services Administrator

We are looking for a new Client Services Administrator for our busy boutique financial services firm.
Our focus is the right person and team fit, with the ability to negotiate number of hours and flexibility for the role. Full training will be provided.
Working alongside our Managing Director and two Client Service Administrators to assist both group and individual clients with their Medical Insurance policies.
Based in Christchurch Central City (Durham Street). Salary $55k+ based on experience.
Background: Primus Brokers has grown considerably since it was incorporated in 2019. We have worked to develop processes and procedures to enable the company to support more clients enrolling in group schemes and to service members and individual clients. However, further growth and the regulatory environment mean we need to add to our team to maintain and grow our levels of service.
Position Requirements: Preference for at least 2 years' experience in the financial services industry.
Pathway to complete or a New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), including Life & Health module.
Experience in a client-focused environment.
Demonstrated self-starter and ability to work autonomously and effectively to manage own time and resources.
Key Tasks of the Role: Responding to client enquiries, both through emails and phone calls.
Confidence to make outbound phone calls to follow up clients.
Drafting written reports and e-mails to a high standard (from existing templates).
Documentation of communication in CRM system.
Demonstrated by: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and empathy with clients.
Self-accountability, attention to detail, and pride in supporting clients.
Proven client management skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to the changing priorities in the work environment.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Ability to understand and retain insurance policy detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Positive attitude and a team player.
