The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity available to join our lovely team and the chance to work for a cause - we change people's lives!
We are looking for someone who has excellent business development skills and experience preferably in the training sector with a strong understanding of workplace training to secure new business. This role entails working through a large existing database of leads. It involves calling and visiting prospective clients, as well as relationship development with networking opportunities and rewarding events like attending graduations.
The role is full-time and based at our Auckland premises (central location and parking available) with flexible working arrangements available. The role may require some travel to the wider Auckland area as well as nationally. The successful applicant will be working alongside two other Client Relationship Managers, the Programme Management team, and report to the General Manager.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated and able to secure new client leads. You'll be responsible for achieving sales and profit targets, while also identifying and creating new training solutions that continue to grow the customer base.
Responsibilities
Grow Edvance's training provision and services through customer-focused solutions and first-class relationship management.
Support the growth of training provision through planning, pipeline management, and sales analysis.
Ensure government funding is correctly applied to programmes and funding utilisation is monitored on a weekly basis and on-track.
Participate in generating new business and a portfolio of your own.
Prepare and present client proposals, ensuring profitability targets are met.
Pro-actively identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in our CRM system.
Be an outstanding internal and external ambassador for Edvance.
About you
Proven ability in sales, pipeline management, and generating new business, with a focus on achieving growth and profitability targets ideally in the Vocational Training/Tertiary Education sector.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain positive client relationships and understand client needs.
Performance analysis, administration, and database operation of CRM.
An understanding of TEC funding streams/Tertiary Education sector would be an advantage.
Ability to travel as needed.
