Join our team at thl and be part of preserving this precious taonga. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our cleaning crew and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for visitors to experience the magic of Waitomo.
Key Responsibilities: Perform regular spot checks and cleaning duties to maintain high standards across all facilities.Collaborate with the Manager to plan and manage tasks efficiently.Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.Maintain stock, equipment, and consumables, and request replacements as needed.Support the team in meeting Health and Safety requirements and ensure compliance.Assist with planning for holiday cleaning requirements.Report faulty equipment and ensure timely resolution.Key Requirements: Current driver's license.First Aid qualification (Level 1) is an advantage.Ability to engage and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team.Energetic, professional, and reliable with a strong work ethic.Availability for a 7-day operation, including weekends.Knowledge of Tikanga and Te Ao Maori is an advantage.General fitness level to perform physical tasks.What We Offer: A supportive, fun, and diverse work environment.Opportunities for growth within the team.Competitive pay and benefits.If you are passionate about preserving New Zealand's natural wonders and delivering exceptional experiences for visitors, apply today!
