About the role
You will thrive working at Whangarei Park Village in Whangarei. Flourishing in our supportive team environment, you will take pride in making your place of work 'gleam' with cleanliness.
This is a part-time permanent role for 26 hours a week from Thursday to Sunday. (Weekend allowance applies)
You will be working Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Duties Include:
Cleaning areas and ensuring day-to-day lists are in place and carried out.
Infection control is carried out as per guidelines, instructions, and standards.
Liase and ensure residents' personal laundry is taken care of and handled in the most appropriate way.
Follow/improve the systems of stock control for cleaning products and linen stock.
Ensuring our residents' environment is kept to the highest standard of cleanliness.
Experience and Skills Required:
You will be an exceptional cleaner, wanting to ensure everything is spotless and in its place.
Cleaning experience (Domestic and/or commercial) preferred but not essential.
Laundry experience is a bonus.
Safe handling of chemicals training is a bonus - but we can provide training.
Excellent English and communication skills & a positive attitude.
