Classroom Teacher - Year Level to be Decided Due to retirement, a rare opportunity has become available at Ohaeawai Primary School. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic kaiako to join our school community from term 1, 2025.
If you are dedicated to nurturing the potential of our tamariki, fostering a love for learning, and connecting with whanau and the wider community, we'd love to hear from you!
We are looking for someone who:
Has strengths in numeracy, literacy, and formative assessment.
Has experience or a strong interest in Structured Literacy (experience with BSLA is a bonus).
Has high expectations for themselves and their students.
Is well-organised and provides creative opportunities for students.
Experience using iPads and/or Google as a learning tool would be an advantage.
Communicates effectively with students, staff, and whanau to maintain the close-knit community feel of our school.
Is a team player who demonstrates a willingness to contribute to the school's wider activities.
Has a strength in Te Reo Maori and music.

Year level to be decided depending on applicants' strengths. There is also a possibility of a management unit assigned to this role.
