Job type: Contract
Approximate pay: $25 - $30 per hour
Description We are seeking an experienced Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Class 5 vehicles for long-haul transport.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours, and mileage.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations.
Qualifications:
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of road safety and regulations.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You must be eligible to work in New Zealand and will need to undergo a pre-employment drug test and MOJ check for this position.
