Te mea angitu kei a tatou: The opportunity we have:
Team Global Express are looking for a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join their team in Greymouth. The Driver will aid work colleagues and the team in the effective, timely and safe handling of freight. You will hold a Class 5 and Dangerous Goods license and have truck and trailer experience. This role is Monday to Friday and has a minimum of 50 hours per week (10 hours daily) with the working hours of 3.30pm to 1.30am.
You will need to demonstrate an ability to deliver superb customer focus, a passion for new challenges, have a non-attributable accident-free driving record, be reliable and well-presented along with a focus on doing your job safely.
You will also be reliable, hardworking, and show pride in your work and equipment. In return, we offer a secure working environment and a strong commitment to employee training, welfare, and health & safety. All applicants are required to complete a full medical and security check.
Additional Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload freight safely
Ensure freight is handled with minimum damage
Scan all freight
Participate in all safety meetings
Operate all vehicles in a safe manner
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
To be successful in this role, you will have the following key skills and experience:
Customer-focused attitude
Communication and teamwork skills
Full NZ Class 5 licence
Dangerous Goods licence
Experience driving in New Zealand
