Claims Co-ordinator role Waitangi Tribunal Unit
12 Month Fixed Term
The Waitangi Tribunal is a permanent commission of inquiry charged with making recommendations on claims brought by Maori relating to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. It holds a unique place in the New Zealand constitutional framework. We are looking for a talented and hard-working person to join the Waitangi Tribunal Unit as a Claims Coordinator.
Te Haeata / The OpportunityThe Claims Coordinator supports the Waitangi Tribunal by performing event management and document management services that are essential to the effective operation of the organisation. These functions include:
Facilitating claimant participation in Waitangi Tribunal inquiriesOrganising official eventsProviding administrative support to Waitangi Tribunal members and the judiciaryO pukenga / Skills and ExperienceNo candidate will meet every single desired qualification. Utu a-tau / SalaryThe appointing salary for this role will be between $65,066 and $90,008 based on skills and experience.
