We're passionate and committed to doing the right thing and together, we can make a real difference.What you will be doing:Using your highly effective listening and interpersonal skills you will take ownership of getting customers sorted when they need it the most …. at claim time. You will be answering a variety of customer calls, from a broken windscreen to a motor vehicle accident. It's not an easy role hearing our customers stories and it would suit someone who takes pride in knowing they were there for someone in their time of need.To begin you will be taking the initial claims details and passing it on to a claims customer manager to assess the claim. Once you are ready you will be an empowered decision maker to use your judgement and look after a portfolio of small claims yourself.To shine in the role:Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally in a similar role where you assess customer needs and offer solutionsA call-based environment is preferred but not essentialYou are tech Savvy with multiple screens and systems as you will navigate through these with unscripted customer conversationsYou will have a strong sense of urgency and be reassuring in a crisisTraining & Work hours:You will start on theth of November?withweeks of full-time paid training, Monday to Friday,am -pm. Held?onsite?at our Union Square Hamilton office.Once you have completed training you will then work in office on a preferred roster with the option to move to hybrid aftermonths.Our Contact Centre is opendays a week, Monday to Fridayam -pm and the weekendam -pm, so your rostered hours will be within our opening hours.You will work on averageSaturday per rosterYou will workxweek rosters a year of set hours Thursday - SundayWe also have fixed full time shifts available: Sun - Thu-pm.Why you'll love working with us:We have an inclusive, diverse, and supportive environment and believe every voice matters.
