Civil Project Engineer – Hawke's Bay, New ZealandMy client is a leading civil construction contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across New Zealand. With a commitment to excellence and sustainability, they specialize in a wide range of civil projects, including structures, drainage, earthworks, roads, highways, and other essential infrastructure developments.I'm seeking experienced Civil Project Engineers to join their dynamic team and contribute to a variety of infrastructure rebuild projects throughout the Hawke's Bay area. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, adhering to the highest industry standards and safety protocols.Responsibilities:Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.Oversee the execution of civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and quality standards.Manage resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency and productivity.Conduct site inspections, identify potential risks or issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions.Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.Monitor project progress, prepare progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety among project teams.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on structures, drainage, earthworks, roads, highways, and other civil works.Proven track record of successfully managing civil projects from conception to completion.Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and industry best practices.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.as well as relocation and immigration assistanceOpportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.Exposure to diverse and challenging projects that contribute to the community's growth and development.If you are a motivated Civil Project Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects in the Hawke's Bay region, we encourage you to apply by sending your resume and cover letter to Phil at ******.
