Civil Engineering Draftsperson

Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Revise and update drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site visits to gather information and verify measurements.
Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including technical reports and manuals.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of designs.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on design-related matters.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in the construction or engineering industry for a minimum 3 years or a relevant diploma education or higher
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawing preparation.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and plans.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with 3D modelling software.
Knowledge of project management tools and software.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
