Vacancy Details Job Title: Chinese Fast Food Cook Location: Porirua Employment Type: Full-time Days Required: Monday to Sunday on shift Hours per Week: 30 to 50 hours a week Number of Vacancies: 2 positions Hourly Rate: $29.66 - $32.00 Key tasks & responsibilities: Taking and serving food and beverage orders and receiving payment from customers.
Preparing fried food such as fried fish and fries.
Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking.
Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves, and deep-fat fryers.
Ensuring that all Chinese Cuisine dishes are prepared to meet the required standards.
Ensuring that all Chinese Cuisine recipes and preparation requirements are followed accurately.
Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
Ordering and taking delivery of fast-food ingredients.
May arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages.
To be right for this role and our organization, you need the following: Some experience based on fast food is required.
Adaptable to change and able to multitask.
Be reliable and responsible.
Be fit enough to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime Must be flexible to meet the early morning and late night shifts.
Long-term and full commitments are required.
Complying with health and safety regulations.
Be able to pass a police check.
