Chinese Cuisine Chef

Plan and update menus in collaboration with the manager. Control food and labor expenses and order supplies based on the budget. Maintain dish quality from preparation to presentation. Collaborate with managers, kitchen, and service staff on food preparation, such as making dough, marination, etc. Teach hand-pulled noodle techniques and provide cooking guidance. Cook food to established standards. Communicate and enforce hygiene rules. Assist in hiring and training when needed. Manage freezing and food preservation tasks as required. Oversee food and raw material stock, ensuring the first-in, first-out policy is followed. Apply hygiene policies in the kitchen. Perform other job duties as required. About you: Minimum of one year of work experience in the hospitality industry or a minimum of NZQF Level 4 relevant qualification Physically fit with a clean criminal record
