Children's Community Nurse , Waitakere Hospital Community Child Health West Team Part-time 0.8FTE, fixed-term ending November 2025 Our Specialist Children's Community Nursing Team provides expert community nursing to children and young people with short and long term medical and/or disability related needs in the North Shore, Rodney and Waitakere areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Registered Nurse to join our dedicated and specialist team based at Waitakere Hospital on a fixed-term basis. This position is 64 hours a fortnight. In this role, you will be visiting children and whanau in their homes to provide a variety of nursing care, including hospital discharge follow up, short and long term nursing care and disability support within a case management model. This is a great opportunity to be a part of an area of specialised nursing practice and be supported in a full programme of orientation and supervision. If you are a practising paediatric nurse with strong clinical skills and a full, clean New Zealand drivers licence, we would love to hear from you. Recent experience in acute paediatrics is essential and New Zealand community experience is desirable.
