About the role Based in Feilding, this role will encourage and enable those from the age of 0 – 19 years of age with/or suspected mental health disorders including severe and emotional behavioural disturbances to be supported with the input of their whanau, hapu and iwi. The role will ensure they regain and maintain the optimum wellbeing of themselves and their whanau.
Skills and experience We are looking for: Qualifications with a Mental Health/ Social Worker background or an equivalent and proven experience required, and/or Appropriate qualifications and/or skills in Alcohol & Drug and Dual Diagnosis, and/orQualifications and/or a background in Rehabilitative therapies and practices Current Full Driver's LicenseDemonstrated ability in written, verbal, and numerical communication, including presentation skillsBasic computer skills or a willingness to learnDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a functional team memberA desire to improve health outcomes for MaoriHas knowledge of relevant agencies and services Proven time management skillsHas well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills Flexible and adaptable in styleAbility to work under pressureIf you are interested in the role please send a CV and cover letter to [email protected].
