Te Tumu Whakahaere/Chief Operating OfficerBased in Kaikohe Full-time, permanent position Closing date: 27 July 2024 ABOUT THE ROLE This position contributes to the success of Ngapuhi Iwi Social Services ("NISS" or "the company") by being responsible for all of the company's operational activities. The position is primarily inward-looking, operational oversight. The position ensures maximum cohesion and performance amongst the company's three main internal groups: service delivery, professional practice and business services. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Business or professional tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred Successful track record in leading complex, non-commercial operations Solid general management experience at a senior level Experience in managing publicly funded contracts/services Knowledge of or experience in the social services sector Deep knowledge of Ngapuhitanga Strong practical knowledge of HR practices High level of IT literacy Social work qualification will be advantageous KO WAI MATOU? In 2006, NISS became a subsidiary of Te Runanga-A-Iwi-O-Ngapuhi.
