With a passionate team of experts and a culture of collaboration, Enztec is where innovation meets craftsmanship, and where every individual contributes to their collective success.About the role:In this newly created position, as COO, you will take ownership of ensuring Enztec remain competitive through their commitment to quality, ensuring they drive excellence across all aspects of the business, and that their products are safe for the end user. Reporting into the CEO, you will be a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team and take responsibility for leading and directing Enztec's technical and operations teams, encompassing design, engineering, and operations ensuring they remain industry leaders in their global market. Key accountabilities for this role include:Streamlining processes, enhancing productivity, reviewing and recommending cost efficiencies and eliminating bottlenecks across all operational functions.Ensure Enztec plant and people are well utilised, productive and continuously improving to enable our sales and growth aspirations, whilst being well managed financially.Set clear goals for your team to drive performance while supporting team members with development and succession plans and foster a constructive feedback culture that challenges, empowers thought leadership and delivers the best outcomes for all those you work with at Enztec.Facilitate cross-functional communication across the Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing departments and wider business departments.Contribute to the development and execution of the Enztec business strategy.Collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders in the business to translate Enztec goals and priorities into actionable strategies.Collaborate with the Quality & Regulatory Affairs team to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.Identify and manage operational risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience in the face of challenges.Assist in organisational change by initiating plans, communicating strategies and implementation approaches.Mitigate operational risk, ensuring business continuity and resilience in the face of challenges.About You:As an experienced operational and strategic leader, you will understand the significance of forging strong relationships with all those you work with internally and externally. With a curious approach you will embrace new production systems and technology and can quickly adapt to new systems and processes, whilst understanding the necessary quality and regulatory controls that define this industry and that Enztec is world renowned for. In addition, you will have a strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate through complex situations with agility, consideration and empathy and pride yourself on being able to enhance internal networks and communication processes through utilising your transparent, direct and natural communication style. We are looking for:Previous experience as a COO or in operations management within a manufacturing/technical industry.Strong appreciation of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the healthcare sector.A strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans to optimise operational efficiencies and drive growth.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with strong listening abilities, a pragmatic approach and an appreciation for giving and receiving constructive feedback.A demonstrated history of driving organisational growth by optimising resource utilisation and enhancing productivity.A proven record of successfully managing complex projects and initiatives from inception to completion.Expertise in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation ensuring that those you work with are empowered to contribute their ideas and drive positive change.Knowledge of supply chain management principles and experience in optimisation of this process.Commitment to promotion of and upholding a safe, inclusive work environment that upholds ethical standards.The ability to challenge and be challenged in a positive manner when required.If you believe you have the proven expertise to work with an experienced, driven Senior Leadership Team, and the skills to lead teams committed to ensuring they remain at the frontier of developing the next generation of orthopaedic instruments and medical devices, join us on this incredible journey!
