Chief Of Getting Stuff Done

Details of the offer

At Radical HR, we believe in doing things differently (radically different!), and are passionate about re-imaging the future of extraordinary teams. We work with innovative organisations and leaders to radically shift perspectives and provide the tools and thinking for the future of teams.

We are looking for someone (or a couple of people to share the load) to work with us (directly with the coFounders), and for one of our amazing clients. How this looks is not set in stone, but there is a mix of work: For Radical HR For the coFounders across their other interests With an external client
We're on the lookout for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves problem-solving, and can jump into multiple projects without missing a beat. This isn't your typical "assistant" role—it's about joining a team that's values-driven, creative, and absolutely passionate about making an impact

We're looking for someone to help us work productively, with a focus on making things work behind the scenes. Whether it's diving into finance data entry, managing appointments (seriously, helping to make our calendars work is a lifesaver!), or taking the reins on social media, we need someone who is a natural at juggling all facets of life and business. If you're someone who loves making everything tick, can manage details like a pro and loves working in an autonomous and empowered way —this could be your dream role!

DISCLAIMER: We are looking for a purple unicorn, but know we're not going to get everything we are looking for. We are 100% looking for the values fit and transferable skills - we can teach you what you need to know -but you need to be a quick learner!

A week might look like (across everything) Leading rapid projects to make an impact into our team, processes and clients Coordinating people from other teams to make sure things are executed on time Generally jumping in to get things done—whether it's liaising with our clients or managing a wine box drop) Keeping our sales CRM up to date, managing email comms and sequencing (keeping us on track too) Writing compelling grants and funding applications Entering finance data into Xero (because numbers need love too) Managing appointments and syncing calendars Booking travel (if we let that one go, we'll talk about it!) Tackling lower-level admin work (we're working on letting go) so we can focus on the higher-level chargeable stuff Helping out with recruitment support (we want our jobseekers and candidates to feel the love) Updating websites, and maybe even creating some eye-catching canva designs, social media content or newsletters Seriously, no two days are the same!
You will be: Someone values-aligned, who believes in making an impact through everything you do A detail-oriented superstar who can keep things running smoothly while always thinking two steps ahead A critical thinker who loves problem-solving, and who has initiative Someone who is organised to the core—juggling calendars, emails, and projects like a pro Not just comfortable with tech, you're a natural In command of amazing communication skills, both written and verbal. Wordsmith? Yes, please! 100% about having fun while getting things done—we like to think we're a pretty fun crew to work with!
Why this could be perfect for you: Flexibility! We have 20-35 hours a week available until Christmas, while we take the time to figure out what we need heading into next year, with the freedom to work remotely (#anywheretogether is one of our values). Ideally you will be Hamilton or Auckland based - there's room for you in our Hamilton based office, and would love your company. You're someone who loves having a hand in everything, and you appreciate variety in your work. You're willing to learn quickly the way we work using our Productivity CODE methodology - think a blend of GTD, Building a Second Brain, Atomic Habits and more. (You need to love Inbox Zero!) We're open to people at different stages in their career—whether you're someone with solid experience looking for flexibility, or a career changer with transferable skills, or are just at a loose end for now we'd love to chat!
Does this sound a bit like you? We'd love to hear from you! Get in touch and pop your application in now—or if you have any questions, reach out to us at ?? [email protected]

?? One top tip from Lisa - we're not a fan of rework (in fact we think it is bad for the soul), or chasing up information. To have the best chance of us reaching back out to you, please make sure you fully complete your application. Completing our application fully through coHired helps us out A LOT, so please keep an eye on your junk email or spam - you may see a reminder if you haven't quite given us everything we need.

Oh, and did we mention we're a load of fun, and love people? You'll be well looked after as the incredible human you are!
