Based in Auckland, New Zealand, PowerShield has several overseas entities.About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Financial Officer to join our team at PowerShield. This critical role is responsible for leading and managing the financial aspects of the company, providing financial guidance, governance, managing cash flow, and supporting and accelerating its recent rapid growth and success.The CFO will report directly to the CEO and the Board, managing finance teams across our subsidiaries and two internal reports. This position involves close collaboration with the Managing Director to meet the objectives and responsibilities of the Group.Key ResponsibilitiesLead global finance operations and reporting across the NZ Finance Team and accounts staff of subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and USA.Provide strategic support to the CEO and senior leaders.Deliver monthly financial reporting and analysis.Drive performance review and cost optimisation.Oversee cash flow and treasury management.Ensure robust compliance, manage audits (internal & external).Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and maintaining the general ledger.Manage acquisitions, tax planning, and lease management.Support the financial planning timetable for the Group, including delivery of budgets, board meeting papers, and reporting.Key Skills & AttributesCA ANZ or equivalent certification.10+ years in financial accounting and reporting.Proven success managing overseas finance teams.Skilled in cash management and foreign exchange.Familiar with multinational corporate tax.Experience in implementing robust and efficient financial systems and processes.Proficiency with IFRS reporting, including first-time adoption of IFRS financial reporting standards.Strong interpersonal skills; effective with executives and key stakeholders.Manufacturing Experience, beneficial but not required.This is an exciting opportunity to take on a crucial role in a global company at the forefront of battery monitoring technology.
