The company has a strong reputation and a positive culture and ethos in its centres.The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a newly created position and a key role for the organisation, it will work closely with the Board and senior leadership team to continue driving performance and strong outcomes for its learners.The CEO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company, including strategy, operations, and finance. They will work collaboratively with the executive team to ensure the business has the right capabilities, tools, and roadmap to deliver innovative Early Childhood Education services in New Zealand. The CEO's leadership will guide the strategic direction of the company, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with their mission, vision, and values.Key Responsibilities:People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the senior management team, promoting a high-performing and collaborative environment.Strategy and Corporate Development: Develop and execute high-quality strategies aligned with both short-term and long-term objectives. Explore new opportunities for growth and innovation.Financial and Operational Management: Oversee the company's financial health and strategic initiatives, driving operational improvement and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports to the Board on organisational performance, financial health, and strategic initiatives. Engage with senior management and regulators on key issues that could impact the business.About you:To be successful in this role, you will be a respected and inspiring senior leader - someone that can hold and articulate a strong vision for their people. You will be passionate about growing talent from within and further developing cohesive and high-performing teams.You will be a seasoned executive with significant experience in senior leadership, preferably within New Zealand's education, care or not-for-profit sectors.
