CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER at Murray Downs Golf & Country ClubLead A Dynamic Club Group Across Two Iconic VenuesMurray Downs Golf and Country Club Ltd is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive the success of its two (2) premier venues: Murray Downs Golf and Country Club and The Swan Hill Club. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a thriving, debt-free business with a strong financial foundation and a supportive, cohesive Board of Directors.About the Clubs:Murray Downs Golf and Country Club is home to a stunning, modern clubhouse overlooking an 18-hole championship golf course, rated among the top 100 in Australia. It hosts prestigious events including the 2024 NSW Open Championship, the annual Golden Putter and several other key tournaments throughout the year. The Club also offers three high-quality turf bowling greens, and a fully club-owned Pro Shop employing a Golf Pro and Pro Shop Manager. The Swan Hill Club features a bistro, gaming facilities, and versatile spaces for community and private events.Key Responsibilities:Provide exceptional leadership across both venues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and the highest standards of service.Oversee the renovation projects planned for both clubs, guiding these through to completion.Lead and inspire a team of 154 staff members, supported by an Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, Finance Manager, Marketing Manager, and Executive Assistant.Drive business growth through strategic marketing initiatives, leveraging the Clubs' unique offerings and stunning locations.Ensure strict compliance with all relevant legislation, with a particular emphasis on gaming regulations and harm minimisation.Collaborate with a strong, cohesive Board of Directors and their sub-committees to explore opportunities for expansion, diversification, and member engagement.Supervise and manage a financially robust operation, overseeing all in-house accounting functions.Utilise and manage various software platforms including Micropower, IFT and GFRPRO Gaming Systems, MiClub, ClubNET, HumanForce, and Wage Easy.Represent the Clubs positively within the broader community spanning across two States, fostering strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and local businesses.Key Requirements:Proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally as a CEO or in a comparable position within the hospitality or club industry.Strong financial management skills, with the ability to oversee a multi-venue operation and maintain financial stability.In-depth understanding of gaming regulations, compliance, and industry standards.A strong track record in financial management, with an ability to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams of various sizes and skill sets.Experience managing renovation or expansion projects is desirable.Visionary mindset with a passion for innovation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.Why Join Us?As the CEO of Murray Downs Golf and Country Club Ltd, you'll have the opportunity to lead a vibrant and successful organisation that is debt-free and in a strong financial position.
