Chief Executive Officer - Alaron Products Alaron is an internationally recognised natural health product manufacturer in Nelson, New Zealand. Established in 1993, the organisation delivers end-to-end contract manufacturing services through its expertise in freeze-drying, hard-shell capsules, tablets, powder blending, creams, and liquids. Alaron Products maintains a broad range of licenses to assure the highest ethical and quality standards for its services. This includes Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certification and FDA Registration. These extensive qualifications also provide Alaron Products access to global export markets. The organisation has experienced rapid growth in recent years and has won several awards including Deloitte Fast 50.   Alaron is seeking a new CEO to lead the business. The incoming CEO will be accountable for driving the company strategy, growth and continued profitability. This requires leading the organisation to achieve its financial targets and reporting outcomes to the Board of Directors. In doing so, the CEO must ensure that policies, operations, and strategic plans comply with regulations. The CEO will work closely with the Board and Senior Management team to define the strategy for customer growth, define the roadmap for execution and lead operational excellence. The CEO will play a key relationship management role with major customers, regulatory bodies and suppliers. They must also be a people leader who cultivates a high-performance culture within Alaron while prioritising health and safety. Additionally, the CEO will support the development of the senior management team and provide visible leadership across the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess the following mix of skills, experiences, and attributes: A relevant tertiary qualification and 10+ years' experience at an executive level within relevant industries such as manufacturing and production; Ability to develop and execute commercial strategy for growth with a strong orientation for strategic business development with New Zealand and international clients; Technical and commercial acumen and an understanding of financial levers in similar business models – capital assets, supply chain, operational costs etc.; Proven experience in optimising bottom-line performance balanced with long-term value creation; Experience within human or animal healthcare, nutritional products industries is highly desirable. This is a unique opportunity to lead a very successful New Zealand business into the next phase of its future.
