You will embody te uara (our values) and balance our commercial, financial and cultural priorities as we grow our investment portfolio. This role has a heavy partnership focus, working closely with our Board and with Ngapuhi, Iwi and Tai Tokerau/Northland commercial leaders, as well as our shareholding Ministers, government agencies, and investment partners. You will navigate the deal-making and investment due diligence process, providing advice on investment options and leading contract negotiations. Importantly, you will lead a small, highly skilled team; coaching, supporting and inspiring the highest level of performance.Ko wai koe | About youFirstly, you will have an impressive track record as a Chief Executive or executive leader. You will have proven commercial acumen and investment nous, ideally combined with an understanding of the machinery of government. You are known for your people leadership skills, your ability to form enduring partnerships, as well as your practical, get-things-done, low ego approach. Experience working with hapu and iwi, along with competence in te reo me ona tikanga will be an advantage.Your experience, maturity, judgment and resilience have set you up for success.
