Key Responsibility : Collaborate with restaurant manager to develop new dishes, create specials and contribute to menu development Prepare and cook dishes according to our restaurant's menu Ensure consistent presentation and quality of meals at all stages Store and maintain food Maintain food safety records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Work closely with other kitchen team members to maintain efficiency in the kitchen environment Minimize food waste by actively seeking solutions to help us achieve our waste management goals Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed Contribute on budgeting and estimating food and labour cost Demonstrate skills and mentor junior kitchen staff, including to provide guidance on food safety regulations and kitchen management best practices. Raise concerns to the manager for any food preparation issues Requirement :   A minimum of 3 years relevant cooking experience  A good team player and excellent social skills Availability work on the weekends and during public holidays   If you are passionate about developing high quality cuisine, we would love to hear from you!
