ILT operates 23 businesses across Invercargill. It employs around 650 staff and has a rich heritage of investing in leading edge hospitality facilities and funding significant community projects through its distribution of profits to over 400 community organisations each year.
The Langlands Hotel is a brand new 4.5 star, 78 room hotel in the heart of Invercargill. The rooms exude luxury along with five quality food and beverage outlets that offer a range from fusion dining, A la carte, cafe and function food preparation.
Applicants will demonstrate the following attributes:
A professional appearance with a positive attitude, adaptability and flexibility.Previous chef experience with hotel experience favorable.High expectations for consistency and quality of all food.Ability to work well under pressure.Community focused with a passion for people and the community.A true team player with great communication skills and can do attitude.Keen to learn and adapt new skills.High level of health and safety.Chefs may come from a variety of different backgrounds and experience. Chefs with A la Carte and function experience knowledge would be an advantage. We have an interchangeable team which allows plenty of opportunity.
