Chef

Inspect equipment cleanliness and operational readiness of the premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Manage kitchen staff, select and train kitchen staff
Estimate and Calculate food and labor cost and set dish price
Learn the trend, plan and update the menu
Perform tasks such as kneading, fermenting, cutting, molding, mixing, and shaping dough.
Clean and sanitize cooking equipment after use.
Work closely with managers, kitchen, and service staff on food preparation tasks, including dough-making, marination, and more.
Skilled in hand-pulled noodle and Chinese pastry techniques.
Ensure a high standard of presentation and food served
Enforce and communicate hygiene and safety regulations.
Oversee freezing and food preservation processes as needed.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.

About you:

At least one year of relevant experience or 
Relevant NZQF level 4 or above qualification
Physically fit with a clear criminal record
