Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week.
Salary: NZD$ 30-$31/- per hour

Your key Responsibilities include:
Ensure all food preparation meets the standards. Prepare and present high-quality food.
Ensure all working areas are clean and tidy and ensure no cross-contamination.
Planning and organising the preparation and cooking of food for all orders.
Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget and quality
Creating new dishes and planning the whole menus according with maintaining or raising profit margins
Guiding correct and effective methods on cooking procedures to staff
Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
Interviewing, hiring and training new staff.
Fostering a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
Ensure food is of good quality and stored correctly.
Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
Determine customer requirements and dietary needs to prepare the dish
Requirements:
· A Diploma or Degree qualification is required for this role. However, 2-3 Years of Relevant Work Experience can substitute the qualification.
· Exceptional Cooking Skills
· Excellent Food Hygiene practices and personal presentation
· Strong Interpersonal and organisational skills
· Highly responsible & reliable
· The ability to focus attention on our customers' needs while remaining calm and courageous
· Working within a team where we respect each other with honesty and integrity
· High Energy, Physical fitness and enthusiasm
· Must be able to work across any shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Please note: This is a full-time position with rostered/split shifts, including weekends. The applicant should be available for the rostered shifts. Although experience will be preferred, it is not essential. Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
