Chef

You will be expected to work at least 30 hours per week from Monday to Saturday as normal hours of work. This is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate will be $29 - $32 according to your experience.
Job Description:

Plan cafe menus and chef's specials
Ensure all menu items are available throughout the entire trading day
Control and estimate food and labour costs to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Order kitchen supplies and update stock
Prepare, cook and serve food according to our high standards of quality and presentation.
Ensure strict food preparation procedures are followed
Ensure kitchen hygiene and cleanliness are maintained to the highest standard
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the cafe with FOH staffs and manager, including supervising and training kitchen staff.

Requirements:

At least 3 years related work experience;
Previous experience within the bakery industry would be an advantage
Knowledge in Vietnamese/ Asian cuisine would be an advantage. 
Be able to work in morning shifts and weekends, holidays
Be able to work according to a roster; 
Has positive and willing attitude to learn 
Must be a team player as well as flexible and adaptable.
