**Salary:** $25-$31.70 per hour, depending on skills  **Number of Positions:** 2  **Employment Type:** Full-time, Permanent  **Days Required:** Tuesdays to Sundays, at least 30 hours per week
**Job Description:**
BD & MR FOOD LTD is seeking talented chefs to join our busy lunch bar located in Auckland. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about food and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. 
**Key Responsibilities:**- Planning menus, estimating food and labor costs, and ordering food supplies.- Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, kitchen, and waiting staff.- Demonstrating cooking techniques and advising on procedures.- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes.- Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations.- Selecting and training kitchen staff.- Freezing and preserving foods as necessary.- Planning and organizing the preparation and cooking of food in a dining or catering establishment.
**Qualifications & Experience:**- At least three years of relevant experience, or- A Level 4 or higher qualification or An Occupational Skills Testing Authority Certificate in traditional cuisine, Level 3, may substitute the required work experience
