About the Role Permanent full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 45 hours per week.  As a CDP and Pastry Chef you are responsible for supporting the Head & Sous Chef in a busy kitchen delivery consistently high-quality food. 
Some of your responsibilities are but not limited to: 
Taking care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by your seniors to meet the standard and the quality set by the GroupCoordinates daily tasks with the Sous ChefResponsible for supervision of junior chefs and commisAbility to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure all standards are met.Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality all times. Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standardsOperate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of any malfunctions. Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environmentAbility to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim Carry out any other duties required by your seniors About You Minimum two year experience in a busy kitchenExcellent verbal communication skillsMust work well in a teamOrganisedPunctual and reliableFriendly, energetic, and hard-working attitudeWilling to learnHave a genuine passion for the industryBe career-driven and have the desire to learn more Why work with us Competitive remunerationLearn from a creative kitchen teamCareer development Daily staff meals and drinkPaid day off on your birthday after 1 year of continuous employment  Opportunity to progress and work across the Group's venues in Auckland, Wellington and QueenstownEnjoy a generous discount across the venues ( staff party and awardsContact Shar Fonseca  (email protected)
