Job Description

Job Summary: As a Chef de Partie in our Main Kitchen, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of your designated section. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen team. Your creativity, leadership, and commitment to excellence will help us continue to deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and present dishes in your section to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.Section Management: Oversee the operation of your section, including managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all food items are fresh and properly stored.Hygiene & Safety: Maintain impeccable hygiene and safety standards in line with the hotel's policies and procedures. Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and well-maintained.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, efficient communication, and a positive working environment.Menu Development: Assist in the creation and development of new menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.Training & Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, helping to train and develop their skills.Guest Experience: Contribute to enhancing the dining experience by ensuring that dishes are prepared and presented according to guest preferences and specifications. Qualifications

Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant.Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.Skills:Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Creative flair with a passion for culinary arts.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
