What you will do: This is an excellent opportunity to join a hard working team dedicated to providing the finest seasonal food using local ingredients.Responsibilities include:Menu preparation in collaboration with colleaguesEnsuring adequacy of supplies at cooking stationsTraining, developing and supporting junior chefsPreparing ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc)Following the guidance of the head or sous chefs and have an input in new ways to present foodPutting effort into optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and qualityAdapt to guest requirements as requiredCreate and produce a diverse and healthy staff meal menuComply with strict Health, Safety and Hygiene standardsWhat you will bring: For this position you must be self motivated, a team player and work well in a high pressure environment. You will also need to:Hold a relevant culinary qualificationHave proven experience in a Chef de Partie role, ideally with experience at a similar standardHave excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processesHave the ability to think on your feet, as we have many guest requests and menu changes each dayHave good time management and the ability to multi taskA respectful attitude towards guests and colleaguesExcellent communication skillsA thorough understanding of Health & Safety requirementsWhat we offer: We currently have two vacancies for in our Kitchen team - one permanent and one seasonal.
