We're L'affare. The coffee business. Ever since 1990. We were born out of a love for espresso, in Wellington at our café and HQ. 30 years later, we're still there on College Street in our recently renovated café that we are very proud of, serving up some of the best coffee and tastiest food around.

The opportunity:
As a close-knit team, we're eager to welcome someone with a genuine passion for food and a desire to expand their skills. We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at our Melrose café.
In this role, you'll engage in all aspects of kitchen operations, collaborating with our Head Chef to craft enticing seasonal dishes. Your responsibilities will include preparing a variety of cabinet food and menu items to impeccable standards, as well as conducting daily food preparation and upholding kitchen cleanliness. Additionally, you'll provide support to the team during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations under pressure.
This is a casual position working over Saturday and Sunday (15 hours total). You must be available for both days.
