Chef/Cook and Front of House/Duty Manager Roles Glasines Cafe and Bar is located in the heart of South Invercargill.
We pride ourselves on providing a warm and friendly atmosphere for our many local customers.
We are a cafe, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
There is a bar area and gaming machines in the back area.
We are looking for new team members in the kitchen (Cook or Chef) and Front of House (Duty Manager) with options for Part Time.
We are open seven days a week from 8am to approx 10pm.
Qualifications & Experience Cook/Chef - 1-2 years kitchen experience - Willingness to learn and progress Front of House Duty Manager - Front of house and customer service experience - LCQ and General Managers Certificate would be advantageous but we are willing to assist and support you through your training Tasks & Responsibilities Chef/Cook - Daily meal prep Chef/Cook - Ordering produce Chef/Cook - Stocktaking Chef/Cook - Cooking and preparing a range of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner foods Front of House/Duty Manager - Providing excellent customer service Front of House/Duty Manager - Managing a small team on shift Front of House/Duty Manager - Ordering stock Front of House/Duty Manager - Maintaining a high level of cleanliness We offer a relaxed and casual atmosphere, a friendly team, meals provided on full shifts, staff discount on food and beverages, and free parking.
