Our Customer Services department is central to our success, consistently delivering memorable shopping experiences.About the Role:We're offering a full-time position for a dedicated Checkout Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking to apply their expertise in a leadership position, as well as motivated individuals eager to develop their management skills.You'll play an integral part of our customer-focused team, leading and inspiring our frontline staff across Checkout, Customer Services, Lotto, and Café. As a key member of our team, you'll also serve as a Duty Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance in the sale of restricted goods.Key Responsibilities:Lead and inspire the Customer Services team to deliver exceptional customer experiencesOversee daily operations, including staff scheduling and resource allocationEnsure regulatory compliance, particularly in alcohol salesImplement and maintain high standards of customer serviceHandle and resolve customer complaints effectivelyManage cash handling and till operationsSupport loss prevention measuresProvide training, coaching, and mentoring to team membersDrive operational efficiency and process improvementsMaintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming checkout area.Requirements:Valid LCQ and manager's certificate (or ability to obtain)Exceptional personal presentation and customer service abilityFlexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.Ideal Candidate:Experienced in retail supervision or managementStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teamsExcellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiencesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to personal and professional growth.We Offer:Competitive remuneration (to be discussed at interview)Supportive management and excellent working conditionsCareer development opportunities and leadership developmentApply online now - we can't wait to hear from you!
