Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Chat Support Officer to join our team at W.R. Berkley in Wellington, NZ. As a Chat Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support to assist with inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. This role is part-time and at an entry-level position, perfect for someone with 1 year of experience looking to start or grow their career in customer support. Responsibilities:1. Engage with customers through online chat to provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries.2. Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as needed to ensure prompt resolution.3. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while interacting with customers to ensure a positive experience.4. Collaborate with team members and other departments to address customer needs effectively.5. Document and report customer feedback and trends to improve overall customer satisfaction.6. Stay up-to-date on product and service knowledge to provide accurate information to customers.7. Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining quality customer service.8. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery. Requirements:1. Resilient and resourceful personality traits to handle challenging customer interactions.2. People management skills to effectively communicate and empathize with customers.3. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple chat conversations.4. Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.6. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.7. Proficiency in using chat support software and tools.8. High school diploma or equivalent.
