Korero mo te turanga - About the roleOur Radiology Department serves the population of the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa areas. We receive a wide variety of clinical referrers, including regional Plastic Surgery and Rheumatology services as well as referrals from 2 Emergency Departments.
We provide x-rays, ultrasounds, MRI and CT scans. We are looking for an experienced Sonographer to lead the Ultrasound work in our newly transformed Radiology Department. Mo to matou ropu - About our teamWe are a friendly, professional and dedicated team of approximately 80 staff, with a 'Can Do' attitude who ensure the best possible care for our patients. Our team includes: Radiologists, Sonographers, Medical Imaging Technologists, MRI Technologists, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Administration / Bookings Team, and Data / IT / Quality staff.
As a new Team Leader, you will lead and be part of our dynamic Ultrasound department; made up of 4 full-time equivalent staff, who are focused on job satisfaction, teamwork, and quality. We offer a supportive workplace culture with a commitment to your ongoing professional development and well-being. In addition, we have a strong focus on ongoing quality improvement and constructive relationships with clinical colleagues.
Our Radiology Department also holds International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accreditation.
Mou - About youAs a Charge Sonographer in our Ultrasound department, you will be leading a fast-moving fun environment, where you will be exposed to a large variety of work including MSK, Vascular, Obstetrics and General Sonography.
