About the position: The Charge Nurse plays a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our clinics and works closely with the management team; you will be responsible for ensuring that nursing staff safely & effectively meet the clinical needs of patients. Our hybrid model clinic provides the community with urgent care (UC) and general practice (GP) services and is open Monday to Sunday between 8 am – 8 pm. Key Responsibilities: Management of nursing staff Rostering Support with Urgent Care and Cornerstone Audits Education and Development of the nursing team involvement in nursing staff recruitment You will need to have the following: A current NZNC APC Urgent care experience (Preferable) Minimum five years of experience as a Nurse in NZ Previous experience in a nurse leadership role is desirable Excellent English written and spoken skills Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities Awareness of ACC and PHC funding models Experience with MedTech Evolution would be advantageous Someone committed to health equity and cultural competency and can demonstrate an understanding of Tikanga Maori, Kawa Maori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
