We are seeking an experienced Change Specialist to develop and implement strategies to influence change management with a people centric approach.
You will collect insights on priorities, advise on the change landscape, and develop strategies that maximise employee engagement and adoption while minimising resistance.
This role is responsible for building and supporting Change Management capability and knowledge across the Council.
Working within the Organisational Development team as part of the Chief Executive's office, you will focus on building strong relationships across business units to lead best practice change and transformation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally are key to this role.
This role is unique in that it has incredible reach across the organisation.
You will be able to see the future for our Council which will guide you in identifying and implementing a programme of work to improve the way we do things and ultimately deliver better outcomes for our communities.
You will have experience in implementing complex change initiatives, ensuring projects are initiated, planned, and implemented using a holistic approach.
Strong stakeholder engagement is key to improving collaboration integration across the entire organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project professional with a real interest in systems to support better project delivery.
You will also need: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline Professional qualification in project or change management Significant experience in implementing projects or programmes, applying recognised Project Management disciplines.
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance Highly developed data gathering, documentation, report, and process mapping skills.
Ability to lead change Excellent organisational and planning skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications Far North District Council is a progressive and growing Council filled with like-minded people who love what they do and are committed to providing superior services to residents in their community.
The salary for this position is Grade 18 within Council's salary structure with commensurate salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
