As a Centre Manager in Early Childhood Education (ECE), you play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of young children's educational journeys. Your responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum of administrative, educational, and leadership duties designed to ensure the highest standards of care and learning in a nurturing environment and will include:· being a strong and capable role model and shining star-leading your centre as the best ECE provider in your community· driving and supporting daily operations, programme delivery and administration practices with outstanding energy and flair· being a high impact leader, developing your team to provide and maintain superior service· ensure culturally responsive practices using Te Tiriti o Waitangi as a foundation · inspire delivery of BestStart philosophy, vision and values in every interaction · provide exceptional and responsive communication to teachers, families/ whanau, where learning is communicated, & family feedback is actioned in a timely manner · instil and adhere to best centre practices that meet BestStart, MOE and ERO expectations Role requirements: Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following: · B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification · Strong understanding of child-led curriculum, pedagogy and curriculum · Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard · A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices · You'll be known for being a great coach, who can unlock the potential of others · You are an innovator, both in input and output – being part of simplifying the way we do things excites you!The is a fixed term position, starting 30th September 2024 and ending 15th August 2025, working 40 hours per week.About us:Here at BestStart, we are committed to offering a quality early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment where we grow caring people with curious minds.
