Centre Administrator Part Time | Hardykids Nelson Are you looking for an administration role in a fun environment full of aroha and laughter? We have the role for you!
We are looking for a superstar administrator to join our team at Hardykids Nelson! We seek a warm, welcoming, and professional individual who will hold a key role in building and maintaining relationships within our centre. The role will require the candidate to provide a high level of support to the Centre Manager through effective management of administration systems and high levels of communication with both enrolled families and external organisations.
This is a part-time 25-hour role from Monday – Friday; we offer flexible days and hours, so have a korero with us about your schedule!
Key Responsibilities:
Face-to-face interactions with parents, children, and visitors to the Centre.
Maintenance of our childcare management system (Discover) - data entry, data audits, parent invoicing, and payment receipts.
Answering and directing telephone calls, timely, accurately, and professionally.
Daily and weekly reports and data collation as required by the Centre Manager.
Supplying information to our Support Office in line with daily and weekly reporting requirements.
Any other general admin-based tasks as required and requested.
About You:
Outstanding customer service ability – warm, friendly, and welcoming!
Tech-savvy – you will have excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook in particular).
Exceptional organisational and administration skills with a fastidious eye for detail.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work with good problem-solving ability.
Flexibility, and a willingness to step in and support others as required.
Knowledge of WINZ funding entitlements and experience using a childcare management system is preferred but not essential.
You will need to be available to travel to the centres to complete various administrative tasks.
Experience with accounts, invoices, and debts is advantageous.
